EmergencyManagementStudy.com is a public initiative of Sytel, Inc, and our mission is to provide a gateway for U.S. citizens to further their preparedness for emergency management.  In addition, this website allows students to access Independent Study courses and apply for college credit upon successful completion.  Sytel is responsible for administrative support services for FEMA's Independent Study Program, and has partnered with regionally accredited colleges to award academic credit for each successfully completed Independent Study Course. We hope to deliver on FEMA's Strategic Plan, Goal #4 "Serve as the Nation's portal for emergency management information and expertise."
